Does Predator monitor egt and defuel as required ?

I'm ordering a U7180 but may not have gauges right away for towing my 8200 lb camper! Are the EGT monitored and engine defueled at high temps as some of the other programmers are capable of doing? Thanks Dan

The U7180 does not defuel based on EGT's as all LB7,LLY and LBZ trucks do not come with EGT sensors from factory, the other companies require you to install and EGT in order for that function to work.
Best bet untill you get gauges would be to run the two tune for that amount of weight, once you get gauges you can put the 65hp tune in and drive as normal but monitor egts so you can back out of throttle if it gets too hot.
