2006 300C SRT8 Transmission Auto Upshift Option Question

In the transmission/ Auto Upshift page.
What is:
Mode 1
Mode 2
Mode 3

I just want it to NOT auto upshift in manual mode. What mode should I use.

Try 1, if that works, all set, if not, try 2, etc.

Tried Mode 1 and it seems to work, however it appears to shut off the fuel briefly when you hit the specified rev limit. I was hoping it would just hold at the specified rpm without cutting the power.
Do the modes have different styles of rev limiter?

Bump the rev limiter a couple hundred RPM.
