U7193 Dataviewer question

I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500HD with quadrasteer. I have the U7193 and am very impressed. However I am having a few issues. First I am having issues with tire size. I put in the sidewall numbers and my speedo is about 5mph too fast. Didn't realize this for a bit and though I was getting 5+MPG increase. Figured it out and I put in the actual tire measurement and it is about 3mph fast (according to gps). Want to make sure of mpg savings. The second issue I am having is that I cannot see my live readings on the Dataviewer. I asked this question when I first bought the Predator but I was told that it wasn't available yet on the U7193. According to the announcement post about upgrading older units I should have this ability with the current revision. I have downloaded and installed the most recent revision 9r07 and still cannot see the live readings. Any ideas or is this still not yet available on my setup? Thanks.

you have the predator hooked up to the obd port, and then also have the laptop connected to the predator via the serial/usb cable - then you start up the dataviewer on the laptop and you can't get the parameters??

That is correct. I can see that it recognizes the predator and the vehicle but nothing on the dashboard. Like I said before, I called tech support and they told me it wasn't available yet for my vehicle. I was wondering if it had changed with the newest version.

Is the DV up to date?

Yes. I download and install all new versions as soon as they come out. I am going to retry again this weekend to see if I can get it to work and will write down my process.

do you have the list of parameters on the left that you can select??

did you select any and start recording?? no gauges show up on the right hand side when you select a parameter??

I think the DV is working properly but not sure if the Predator is actually sending the live feed to the Laptop. I haven't tried it yet this weekend but will later today. I will let you know what happens.

I finally got it to work yesterday. I re-read your replies and noticed something. You asked if they came up when I was recording. Well, I guess I forgot to click Record when using the DV. It seems to work just fine now. Thanks guys!!
