Can Predator be resold?

I have a Predator for my '06 Charger, times are tough and I need to sell things I don't need. Can the Predator be resold to another Hemi owner since it has been used on my car?

I believe you have to restore the stock tune on your car first before it can be used on another vehicle.

I purchased a used predator for my charger and the guy i got it from said he called you guys before he sold it and you told him it was unlocked,went though the menu, then when i got it it says my charger needs an update but that the unit is locked to a different car and it shows the VIN of the other car, the guy i bought it from only had a 4 day warrantee so he says i am out luck, can i send it to you and pay$$ to have it cleared out?? or am i out $340.00 thanks.

Predators are not "locked" or unlocked. When you use the predator to install a tune it locks itself to that car. When you restore the original backup (the stock tune that was on the car) it unlocks itself from that car. If that guy called DS that's what they told him. He either screwed up or he's trying to rip off a tune. Just take it back to him and have him restore the original backup on his car or give you your money back.

Yeah, the dude is either mis-informed or a scam-artist. He needs to restore the stock tune to his car, then give the predator back to you or return your cash!

Whoa..I am looking to buy a used tuner from a guy..he sorta says the same thing..no real warranty..Hmmmm..I guess I will stick to the SC tuner..I did get it cheap...wish I could find a Diablo like that..
