adustments needed before a tune is put in?

when you first get your predator should you automaticly adjust the Gear ratio, and tire size due to the many configurations avvalible. Or does the predator pull most of this info out by vin number, even though most predators will support many differnt years trucks as well as models.

in example a truck can have a 245/75/16 or a 265/70/17, that being said these sizes are only .1 differance in OD and wont make much of a change but was just curious how the predator new the differnace in trucks.

Only make changes for non stock gear or tire.

Factory settings are stored in your stock tune.

Hey Mikel, this is an old thread but it's a good question. My 08 G8 GT comes from the factory with two wheel options, 18" and 19" rim options. I haven't modified these settings, should I verify or can I verify that the diablo is running the right size rim for my car? I have the 19" summer only rims and tires. Maybe the outer circumference is the same on both wheel sets so therefore no changes need to be made?

I have the stock gears.
