2006 Mustang GT - VR7140 - Tranny swap question

I have an 06 Mustang GT with the VR7140 for the Paxton supercharger and currently running an auto tranny. I preparing to swap the car over to a stock 5 speed manual tranny. Can I change the transmission setting from automatic to manual without requiring a custom tune? I will not be changing any electronics, the only changes will be to remove the mechanical pieces from the auto and install new pieces from the stick.

There is an option for manual or auto on the predators.

I understand that and I know about that option but that was not my question. The question is will I need to perform any other tuning to the computer when I make the swap? The tuner is designed to choose between auto and manual on a stock car, I don't know if there will be any issues when doing a swap. Has anyone else done this before?

You will most likely need a manual computer, or a tuner with a LOT of experience with late model Mustangs.

The tranny selection in the tool is simply to tell the tool whether to display auto-specific PIDs and adjustable parameters.

Thank you for the response. Do you have any recommendations for a tuner that could make the changes or has Diablo considered offering tunes with these changes? I'm sure as time goes on, more and more people will be making this swap...
