I have a 2000 Mustang GT 4r70w coupe.
I have a U7146 tuner with mustang-7r50d update.( actually, I was sent the u7000 and put the update on it... It was sent to me from RPMOutlet with the U7000 sticker on it. do I need to go to a local CMR Dealer and have it programmed?)
I just recently replaced my engine and am currently wondering if the TFT reading is actually supposed to be in degrees celsius, because it's saying that my TFT is reaching 170 degress CELSIUS, yet I'm having no problems with shifting/downshifting. As a precaution I just changed the tranny fluid and filter, but I still get the elevated reading. There is no kinks in any tranny cooler lines, No shudder or vibrations/harmonics.
So before I take my car in to a transmission shop I need to know if I'm reading this correctly....
transmission temperature...

RE: transmission temperature...
The celcius # being displayed is wrong. It should read in degrees farenhiet, and 170* F is a safe temp for your tranny.
Thanks
Thanks
