2005 Mustang GT Tunes

Post by Reedawgg »

I've been trying to find a breakdown of details on what each Performance Tune modifies? Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

When I plug the tool in and go to the Performance Tune menu.. It gives me a list of various tunes to select from. I'm wanting a breakdown of each one. I installed the C&L Racer 95mm cold air intake kit on my 05 GT automatic tranny. I keep getting errors about MAF and OBDI.. Any help woould be appreciated. Thanks!

Are you running a C&L Racer intake?

They haven't released the intake itself yet that I know of. But I do have the CAI kit from C&L. Just installed it this past weekend and tuned it with C&L 91/93 octane performance tune.

To be exact. I ordered the C&L RACER Air Intake Kit with the Predator from rpmoutlet.com and added a MOTOBlue throttle body spacer as well.

You'll need to list the codes, as I am not sure what the issue could be.

Yesterday I cleared the codes and re-installed the tune. As of right now I haven't had any more error codes. When they come back up I'll post the info on here. Thanks Mike!

2 codes again at the moment..

P0506 Idle Air Control System RPM Lower Than Expected
P1000 OBD Systems Readiness Test Not Complete

I have gotten these codes several times after clearing and re-installing the tune.

Not sure what would cause the lower idle, try raising it a bit in the tune?

Rasied the rpms on drive and neutral options. Still getting the same thing. Do you think since I added a throttle body spacer by MotoBLUE from rpmoutlet.com would affect anything? Also, I've been searching the forums and trying to learn more about what the WOT and MAF adjustments will/won't help. Haven't found much help.

Take the spacer off and see if that makes a difference.
