I know the unit can be unlocked for $100, but my question is that when I send it in to be unlocked can you guys put a custom tune on it for me then. When the unit was new it came with powerdyne's supercharger kit and had a tune it made special for the supercharger. (Its for a 2001 Silverado 4.8, with powerdyne's kit #K10521-101) I bought the unit second hand and its locked, so when you guys unlock it can you put that powerdyne file back in it, and also update the programer if possible. Do I need to fill out an RMA request?

First we need to know 2 things:

1. What revision is on the tool?
2.What is displayed under Options>Car Tune?

1.When the unit turns on it says, bios v 6.01, then when you are at the screen which has, Tune it, Diagnostics, Options. It says at the top 1.03.
2. It says Factory Tune

Cool. This tool can be unlocked.
Fill out the rma request form, and ship the tool in for unlock/update.
Once you get it back, get the cables and power supply to connect your Predato rto the PC, and email us a copy of your stock tune, and we will make a Powerdyne tune for you.

BTW, which kit do you have?
Does it have big injectors, or an FMU?
If it has an FMU, I'd stongly suggest getting a bigger fuel pump and a set of at least Bosch 42# injectors.
This will yield better performance, driveability, and mileage.

Yeah, it has the FMU. Its powerdyne's kit #K10521-101 (6-psi). Stock I ran 15.7 so I'd be happy if I could see 14's with the supercharger. BTW which email do I send my stock file to when Im ready for the powerdyne file? Thanks Brett

Send it to me.
I would seriously suggest looking onto some 42# injectors and a fuel pump to replace the fmu, as this will provide excellent gains in power.
