2004 C5 Corvette U7193 Comparison Chart

Post by cmackdilly »

Is there any comparison charts anywhere I can reference for my customers? I have had quite a few ask to see the difference in the Hp/Torque curves before and after the Predator was used.

We tend to shy away from charts as there are waaaaay too many variables, and if the customer does not understand this, and their dyno sheet does not look exactly like the one we provide, then we are made out to be liars or something, and it makes it tough to explain all of the reasons that you will rarely see the exact same results on 2 different cars, even with the same tune.

C5 gains are in the 15 rwhp range, as those cars were actually tuned pretty weell from GM. The big improvements come from the tools ability to adjust to your needs, along with the increased throttle response and reduced TM, along with better shifting inthe A4s.

What is the "TM" you are referring to?

i know i was pissed when i saw the dyno graph of a truck on here.. their truck made 2 more hp and 1 more tq than mine.

when i asked MikeL for a refund, he told me to kiss his ass? that hurt my feelings for one, and sent me into a downward spiral of vodka and chocolate addiction that i just recovered from.

i think maybe i am the reason that he doesnt post any graphs up anymore :(

i am sorry for all of you that want graphs of your car. its my fault.

I was also very interested in a graph. I understand that graphs need to come from a constant test - meaning test it under the same conditions.

So...let's get a run on the dyno....not change any variable other than the diablo programmer....and get some results.

I feel that I had much better throttle response from the additions that I made before the programmer...then I worked with Sticky to adjust my ltft's and I got some of the throttle response back.

The bottom line is that as users we need to post results from our own experiements because Diablo can not possibly understand the variable parameters that we may introduce to the powerplant and computer characteristics.

Anyway, I am looking for all input that would make my Corvette quicker.
