(Answered) 06 GC SRT8 "Not Licensed" on U7135

Bought the handheld and immediately had to update it; found the software HERE and did so. Went out to my rig to install the tune, things are looking good (so far). The factory tune is saved into my handheld (awesome, getting closer). Then I go to install the 91 oct tune (for stock to mild configurations). Download begins...then PSYCH!! My GC starts making a ticking noise (no it was not nor was it ever running). And the handheld displays something to the effect of tune not installed, not licensed for this vehicle!! SO I'm thinking, ok put the stock tune back in...SAME THING HAPPENS!

So now I am very worried, can I even drive my rig?! How do I at least get the stock tune back in? (I have not done anything with the vehicle since this happened - I am too damn scared off frying/messing something up at this point)

This is odd, please give us a call with the tool powered up inthe truck.

Well someone on our SRT forum said they had an issue similar to this and that the vehicle stock tune is merely copied to the handheld; my vehicle starts and runs fine...not too sure about the handheld though. Hopefully I get my rig back from the dealership in time today to give you folks a call....
