03 Silverado 6.6lb7, vehicle not supported

O.K., it will not record the original tune as a backup. If I try to open the "performance tune" section it immediately says vehicle not supported by this tool, contact original reseller. The very first time I tried it it asked me if I would like to save the original tune and what type of transmission I have before giving the unsupported message; since that time it has gone directly to the message.

Must be an OLD calibration onthe truck

We have 2 options here:
1. Post up the trucks fill list of calids and the VIN, and we will make an update to support this truck, or:
2. Take the truck to a dealer and have them update the calibration, then the Pred should work fine.

Page 1 has full list of calids and vin. The response I got was that that the predator should recognize and support my truck.

Is the final solution returning the unit to the retailer or having the dealer update the calibration on the truck?
