2000 Mustang GT Vortech Supercharged programming
I need infomoration and help. I have a 2000 Mustang GT. Vortech Supercharger and Aftercooler system ( 4FL218-140sq ) , 30lb injectors, upgraded fuel pump, BBK shorty headers, BBK off road x pipe, 2 1/2 flowmaster exhaust, and a Professional Products, Power+Plus Typhoon intake manifold. Before installing the Typhoon on my car the ECM was programmed by Vortech Engineering with a Diable Sport for a stock Mustang even though I had the exhaust mods on it. It ran pretty good, pulled hard all the way up to 10 PSI the few times I drove it. I then purchased the Typhoon intake manifold and the car has some sort of fuel problem. I am guessing it is running lean. The car idles fine but when driven sometimes backfires if you get on the throttle, and also if in the boost, the engine will shut off and all you need to do to start driving again is to turn the ignition off then back on and away you go. Also it never really builds much boost before it shuts off. I have wanted to get the car dyno tuned but I have been told by a few people that if I buy a Diablo sport programmer that you can make me a custom tune that will work with all the modifications that I have and will work just the same. Can you do that??? and will it fix my car problems?? Also I guessing that my 30lb injectors are running near if not 100% and figured I would upgrade to a 40lb set. Please let me know. My car will run awesome if I just get a little help. Thanks Kyle

RE: 2000 Mustang GT Vortech Supercharged programming
It sounds like you may have some sealing issues with your intake. I would suggest having a qualified mechanic go over the install of the intake.
If you want a new tune, you should really have it done on the dyno. We could send you a tune, but it is tough to get it right without seeing the changes and hoe they apply on the dyno.
Thanks
