1999 Mustang GT Tune

Post by patrick4 »

I just purchased the U7146 tuner for my Stang. All mods are:

- 373's
- CAI
- Ported TB and Plenum
- O/R X Pipe
- Spintech Side Exhaust
- 262 Comp Cams
- Pulleys

I am returning my car to stock with my Hypertech III today before I get started. Are there any areas I should really be concerned about or pay particular attention to? Settings? Thanks

No, simply apply the tune and make the necessary adjustments for the gear ratio and rear O2 sensors and you should be good to go.

Thanks

Thanks Mike! I just put in the 262 Cams and sometimes at idle the car dies. Is there a setting that I need to adjust for that? Thanks!

Try raising the idle rpm until you can get a custom tune done for those cams.
