Computer or truck will not recognize diablo tuner

I keep trying to update my diablo so it will work on my truck but it will not get recognized by my computer. I have it powered up and connected via a usb serial connection. When i try to send the crom file to the diablo before i auto-connect like help says, the program freaks out and crashes. If i try to auto connect, it will sit there telling me it is searching for it. Please help! I just bought this thing and really want to be able to use it. I called the support line but hung up after 15 minutes on hold.

Do you that drivers for the USB cable installed on your computer?

did you install the USB cable drivers??

check the usb cable settings in the Windows Device Manager... make sure the COM port is set to 1, 2, 3, or 4, and that the baud rate is set to 115,200...

Thanks, i had to specifically search google since the cable didnt come with the drivers. I got it working now.
