How does the Predator make the power???
Is there somewhere I can go to see just how each level makes it's power. I'm wanting to know which settings do Timing, Pressure, and/or Duration and just how much.

i think diablo keeps thier info to themselfs, others have asked and got no reply, they do say the extreme tunes have timing but they wont say how much,im not sure if other manufactures give out thier "secrets"or not but im sure they wont here,i dont care how they make the power im just glad they do

Well, I'm not asking how you do it. I would just like to know if I'm pushing the limits of my stock fuel system by running certain programs....
Oh well, the truck runs awesome so I will just live with it. Someone will figure it out eventually......

I would say you are definitely pushing it with the ext RKL tune, fuel system and trans. Both extreme and ext RKL are pushing trans post haste to an early grave, but we all kind of know that.
Fuel wise, especially if you stack the rkl is right on the limit.

Got it.
I'm getting my new clutch this weekend so I'll be fine in that department. I'll be on the dyno at the end of the month and I'll probably try the Extreme tune but I'm not sure about the RKL tune. I don't want to hold the dyno up for 10 minutes while I change tunes.....

I think I remember reading something about very high rail pressure while running the Extreme RKL tune. Is that right? If so then I don't want to chance it while I'm 125 miles from home. I'm also still running the stock LP and I don't know if it will push enough fuel for that setting.....

no guessing to it. a clutch is a must for the extreme stacker mode. i would get the h.p.f.p 150 gallon fass before i ruined a day @ the rollers. just change to that pump and you will feel a difference. even with your truck in the stock mode. i would also recommend gettin' rid of the 1/4" line that runs from the bottum of the fuel filter housing to the injection pump. replace it with a 3/8" line. that helps get more fuel to the pump. replace those two items and your good to go. you will not have to worry about running the rail dry.duallydave wrote:you may be rite, ive been running extreme rkl and i thought i was having wastegate problems but im sure im out of fuel, guess i need a fassssssss

An educated guess tells me that most programs are timing and duration only. The extreme tunes probably add pressure. Some guys need to take heed when stacking a Diablo with something else that adds timing like Juice. Excessive timing can and will destroy things... very expensive things.
I'd get a Walbro before a Holley. Much better pump for the same price. Maybe less....

here is a reason to buy a fass. 6 year warranty. do not know about the others?trik396 wrote:An educated guess tells me that most programs are timing and duration only.
