Love the new tune guys. My truck really seems to be dialing in after a few hundred miles. Still love the part throttle upshift but would still like some downshift parameters. Overall, great job for my 07. Keep it comin'!

Anything we can do about the high idle at start up?

Almost all cars/trucks have a higher idle when starting up. This is a openloop temporary condition with richer fuel. Allows the engine to come up to temp.

I have never had a car idle at 1700 rpm's. At least not since my last carbureted engine 15 years ago.

The colder the motor is the higher the idle will be, the warmer it gets the lower the rpms will go for idle.

I just loaded it in (The new CROM). Perf 93 tune and modified the downshifting like Need-a-cage suggested.

Johan-
Is this 93 Can with the new update an improvement of the original modified tune that we were trying on my truck? I cannot take it out tonight, so hopefully I will be able too tomorrow and see a benefit. If you want me to try the modified tune you made with the new crom let me know.

Thanks all.

Use the canned tune, the tune i sent you a while back will not have the "good" changes the canned tunes have.

I just tried datalogging with the Beta crom and the spark parameters were stuck at 0 and the ECT and ACT were stuck at -83.00. The MPH is also reading 0. I started a new post on my problem. Anyone else have this issue with the beta crom?

Thanks,
Craig
