hey johan or mike is this possible? i previously had a ppe tuner and was much more agressive on the lower part of the throttle, hardly ever had to go over 1/4 throttle on the ppe. I have the u7131 with the r16 update and works awesome now but i do notice that i have to push my accelerator further down to get the same type of powerr as the ppe. Is this possible to perk up the lower end of this programmer without sacrificing anything else?? anyway just a thought and by the way dont forget about those preheaters not cycling properly either. It would also be nice if you guys figured out how we could switch programs without wiping out the key counts. That is one of the big reasons many guys go for that other downloader.....

We can make those tunes but the majority of customers do not want that as it makes for dangerous situations in wet and snow, based on prior experience with the duramax programmers where we had tunes like that and ended up changing it back.
The pre-heater issue, currently I personally only know of one case where this is happening, i looked over your calid and see nothing different from the others to interrupt the pre-heater functionality.
The key counts thing i will look in to.

maybe the ppe is like my old smarty on my 2nd gen,it had wicked throttle responce and i only used 1/4 of the pedal but past half throttle didnt make much diference,i think they condenced the whole throttle into half pedal so it seemed like you were only pushing a little on the pedal.but i wouldnt mind a tune with more low end oooomph.

Stay tooned, ill make some low end toons when i do the update to the r28 ext_rkl files.
If you guys want to let me know which files you use the most from those downloads and maybe eliminate some i will get it done quicker.

very cool ,glad to hear theres a low end tune on the horizon,i dont think the performance stacker tune is used all that much from what ive read here and i have never tried the extreme rkl with less timing,

thats cool, i have the u7131 and everything else is cool with the tuner except just perk up the 0 to 1/4 throttle a bit more, i think when you do this the fuel mileage will go up a bit also because the apps sensor will think its at a lower throttle when cruising. The ppe tuner was very good on fuel also but was a little tooooo much on the bottom end, when you hit bumps on the road it was so sensitive that just a little touch to the throttle would make the truck jump, [no kidding] so there is a limit to how much we can go, we just need a wee bit more on the r16 program and it would be perfect.
