I have a couple of original back-ups saved(one before and one after pcm reset) and none are being accepted due to incompatible calid..Maybe there is something wrong with johan's file. I have tried a bunch of times and it does not work.

Hey Johan I am having trouble with the updated tune you posted...It gives an error when I load the tune into the DS Downloader "XML parsing error: 'not well-formed(invalid token)' at line 2" and then it asks for the original backup file. When I try to use any of my original backup files it gives me a calibration ID error stating the tune is using a different ID than the backup file. Your tune is using my VIN# and the backup file is using a different number. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Or is there a problem with the tune file?

I managed to add 2 gallons of 100 octane VP racing fuel to a 3/4 full tank of 91 octane gas and that made a big difference as far a knock. I did hit 5 in just when I initially dumped the throttle from a rolling start. What I don't get is they want $7.29 for 93 octane and $7.99 a gallon for 100 octane...Why so much for 93? Anyways here is the log. And this is with the 93 canned tune and no mods to it. I was not able to get Johan's tune to install on the predator.

WOW!!!!!!! $7 for 93 oct?!?!?!?? WTF is going on where you live, sorry to say but its middle $2 range here..

You need to drop some timing or find another way to get rid of this knock.. What is your spark plug gap at?? How bad are you spinning in 2nd gear??

also, log the BARO pid not under the spark section, that was not the correct pid. The pid just says "BARO"

I noticed it only spiked to 5 when I first dumped the throttle. The knock was less constant and only hit 2.5 to 3 after that. I have not pulled the plugs yet...I was going to get some new plugs this weekend since the stock ones are still in there. I was thinking that 2 gallons of 100 octane fuel in a 3/4 full gas tank of 91 should have put it over 93 octane. The 2 gallons of 100 octane will put filling my tank up at these prices about $10 dollars more. sfla srt4 did you look at the log? I did not think the knock was that bad. Is it still too much?

Take your plugs out and get new ones if they are still stock.. Gap them down to .032-.035 and replace. I looked at the log after I posted that. The knock may have been from spining like crazy in second.. The knock was down a little, but 2.5-3 is still too much.. I would be happy with 1* or 2* max though. I have 0* on mine, but Im also running more fuel and 93oct..

I am going to install some NGKs this weekend. I am just happy that I seem to have the boost under control now after resetting the computer. As far as 93 octane I don't believe it is normally available in California. The place that sells the 93 octane is the only one in my town. It is just cheaper for me to add two gallons of the 100 octane to a tank if I can get a 93 octane or higher average. The higher octane made a huge difference on the knock. I was getting knock thru all the gears before. I was looking at widebands and the AEM seems to be the best one...I may have to wait a little bit due to I just spent $400 on a predator and the wife asked how much more am I going to spend on my car.
