U7140 05 mustang gt and 9r03.crom update with C&L CAI???

I updated my U7140 to the latest crom file after restoring my backup tune. When I attempted to reload my tune after updating to 9r03.crom I could not find a tune for my C&L street CAI???? I had to re-install my previous crom version since I was unsure where the tune went or if it was deleted. Please let me know what I need to do so I can keep my U7140 up to date. Thanks

The C&L tunes have been removed from these tools for some time now, if you need C&L tunes you'll have to stay on the older revision.

Good luck beacuse I have a stock 05 GT with automatic transmission. Added the predator and C&L racer CAI kit, keep in mind the predator came with the C&L tune for 87 or 91 octane performance tune... Sadly I'm having trouble with mine at the moment. Mike seems to know quite a bit so hopefully he can help us out. :::crossing my fingers:::

Nope, your not missing anything unless you wind up with an updated calibration from the dealer for some reason, otherwise no need to update.

More questions, sorry to be a pest. If that were to happen (updated calibration by the dealer), would the predator not work with my car? Or, would you guys be able to get it working again. If, on the other hand, I update the predator, get a custom tune for the C&L and store it in the predator, and then update down the road, will that custom tune remain in the unit, or will I have to reload it from my computer?

If they update it, you'd have to update the tool to support your new calibration, but you'd also need a custom tune as the new revisions do not have the C&L tunes.

I think I got it. If I stay with my current version and tune, the only thing that may mess me up is if I have to take my car to the dealer and they change the vehicle's calibration. In that case, I can update the predator and get a custom tune? Is there a way to get a C&L tune from you guys or will I need to get it from a dealer?

Actually, you would update the predator yourself.

Thanks Mike, now I'm clear. I think I'll stay with the old tune and if my car ever gets recalibrated, I'll update the crom software and get a custom tune.
