Why should I pay more than twice as much for a Trinity when I can have a Predator without the bugs? What is the difference between the two (other than the flashy display, dragstrip simulator)?

Who says there are bugs?
The Trinity has not yet even been released to the public....

RE: Why should I buy a Trinity?
It's a new computerized gizmo, it has bugs, shortcomings and glitches I'm sure. Not to mention the fact that it won't have all the progams the Predator does. Can it adjust my speedo for larger tires?
What justifies the higher price tag?
What justifies the twice as high price tag?

RE: Why should I buy a Trinity?
Again, it seems you have a bunch of misinformation...
What makes you say it will have less programs than a Predator?
First off, it supports all vehicles in one part number, so if you go from the 300C to a F150, you can use the same tool.
Of course it can adjust your speedo for larger tires, just like the Predator does.
The higher price tag comes from the fact that this is a monitoring device, with a full color touch screen, virtual dragstrip functions, and virtual dash layouts for monitoring engine vitals while driving.
The fact that it is a new electronic device is why we have it in Beta testing, so we can work those types of bugs out before a release to the public.
Thanks
Mike

Diablo Reps,
OK Today I Saw this Trinity in a magazine at my local speed shop, no prices so I came home to do a little investigatory, and check it out looks like a good new product, Well to me this device is driven more towards the younger crowd with the 1/4 time, 0-100 time trial and 0-100mph race, Well IMO this kind of information is what is going to get the younger crowd into trouble with the Law Enforcement Officers, you want to know what your 1/4 time is take it to a track, as for the 0-100 same thing take it to a track and get your slip. and keep it off the Streets. Better Safe than Soory. I know its all Marketing but lets not put information out there just for the Cool Factor and impulse buyers.
Now onto the price, $799
I would rather spend $369 for the Pred, take that other $430 and spend it on a nice Cam, or a set of headers.
If this product was closer in line with the Edge Evolution at $449 which does from what I read just about everything the Trinity does without silly race and 1/4 time programs that are just a way to sell the product to the younger crowd. And without the new cool fad of touch screen, who want to race buddies.
Keep it to Real Data, such as EGT's AFR's nock sensors, water temps, tranny temps and., and maybe even throw in a way to help calc MPG while you’re driving.
Diablo bring down the price, it’s better to move more product at a lower price and gain a larger following than sell a few at a high price and drive away the people with not so large pockets.
I would buy this product but the price is way out of orbit,
V/r,
Dan
