Sierra 2008 5.3L I need your help and Reccumendation

HI,

My car is Sierra 2008 SLE 5.3L
I am usin Octain 91


First time I heared about Diablosport when I went to remove the speed limit in my car, the seller show me the Diablosport device U7194 which matches to my car.

I made a search about it and the best place to ask people about my Questions is HERE.

I will list some Question that will help me to buy the U7194

1-What is the best Package should I buy with the U7194?With USB cable or any recumanded parts?

2-How many times can I install & Uninstall the the tunner?I heard its 3 times then I have to pay money?

3-I will add an K&N Air Intake and magnaflow kitback. What should I do after installing the new parts with U1794? (Is there an option to programe the car to include Air Intake)?

4-Could I help My friend who has Tahoe 2008 to upgrade his car too?

5-Is it possible to sell it to other person to upgrade his car In case I sold my car?

1 - buy the pc interface kit as well, which includes the power adapter and serial/usb cable. this will enable you to connect to your pc to be able to update the predator to new revisions, download data logs, import/export tune files, etc.

2 - as many as you want... dunno where you heard "3, then you have to pay money" - as that is not true at all... once you buy the predator, you can use it to make adjustments and install tunes to your vehicle as many times as you want - there is no limit.

3 - after installing those items and the tune, put on about 75 miles to let the new amount of airflow and fuel trims get relearned by the ECM, then do some data logs to see what your average ltft's are reading. then adjust your injector slope accordingly so that you get your average ltft's in the 0 to -2 range. here's info on how to do all that correctly: http://diablosport.com/index.php?name=P ... opic&t=917

4 - no, you can only use the predator on one vehicle at a time. once you install a tune to your vehicle, it is LOCKED to your vehicle, and can not be used on another one. your friend needs to buy his own.

5 - if you sell your car, you will need to restore the original backup tune to it first, so that you don't sell it with the tune still installed, and also - by restoring the original backup to the car, that will unlock the predator from it so that it can be used on another supported vehicle. THEN you could sell it.

Personally I use Octain 91, in this case I`ll not find a ready to install Tune for 91octain which matchs my car

yes you will... the 7194 predator for the trucks will have three tunes on it... a Diablo performance tune, an 87 octane tune, and the Modify Factory Tune (or called Factory HP Tune)...

the Diablo Tune is made for 91 octane gas... that's the one you'll want to install and use.

they are just that - for corvettes only... you won't have those on your tune menu... the predators work on several different vehicles, and depending on the vehicle it's hooked up to, you will have different tune choices...

if you hook up a 7194 to a vette, you will have those 3 tunes the seller mentioned...

if you hook it up to a truck, you will have the 3 tunes I mentioned...


yeah, diablo tune and diablo performance tune are the same thing man...


you don't HAVE to adjust anything, you can just install the diablo tune and go... but you will get some better performance if you do the data logs and adjust your fueling correctly...

dude, the tunes change a LOT of things... not able to list 'em all here, that's for sure

speed limiter is removed, TM is removed from the engine side, timing is adjusted, WOT PE fueling is adjusted, as well as a BUNCH of other stuff...

did you mean, like if you use different octane gas??? so instead of using 91 octane, if you used 89 octane??? yes, you can adjust WOT timing/spark advance for different octane fuels....

91 and 95 octane

91 octane costs me to fill up my tank some thing about 12$ green colore 100 Litter
95 octane costs me to fill up my tank some thing about 17$ red colore 100 Litter

yes, you can edit the timing/spark advance... but only for wide open throttle....

also, since your gas ratings are different over there... your 95 octane is actually equivalent to our 91 octane, which the tunes are made for... so you should use your 95 octane gas over there...

your 91 octane is really only like our 87 or 89 octane...

no, there is no color to our gas here.... it's clear, actually a slight little yellowish tint to it...

not sure what it is you're trying to say about a throttle.. . when I say Wide Open Throttle (WOT), that's a term for when you put the pedal to the floor... when you floor it, put the pedal to the metal... that's going wide open throttle...
