06 Charger R/T - Adding Shift Firmness ? ? ?

Post by markzatzkin »

I can't change the time on my VCR either!

I have been trying to add shift firmness. I tried to increase it by two increments by selecting it twice. This caused my engine light to come on. Resetting to stock then re-installing the 91 CAI cleared the trouble code.

I will settle for one increment increase but even when installing that I am concerned because there is no prompt to unplug the device.

So, please walk me through installing shift firmness.

Love the device. Power is increadible. Will install the 93 CAI once I flush out my 89 fuel Completely. (Currently 1/2 tank of 89oct and 1/2 tank of 93oct )

Shift firmness is in the Quick adjust menu, go there, go to transmission, then shift firmness and press increase, follow the prompt to cycle the key and thats it.

Okay. There is no prompt to unplug like there is when installing a tune? Cycle the key and that's it. And doing it more than once is will not add anything?

Have you tried to plug your Diablosport into the VCR?

Just a though . . .

By plugging the DSP into the VRC it remarkably makes the picture quality clearer too! LMAO!
