Calibration Update Questions

Post by chargedviper »

Well having had my Predator since last year i am just wandering what the calibration update is? Is it like an update for the computer and is not canned tune specific oh and lets say you load a tune but go back to stock or even reset your adaptives would this be needed again? I have an 07 Charger SXT and have 9R03 so would i need this? Sorry for all the questions but i just want to be clear about what this "calibration" is for

We implemented the calibration update so we had to support less files from DCX, plus the Predator's memory could not hold them all.
When we do a calibration update we put the latest stock file from DCX into your vehicle, which is usually a good thing as they update the files to correct issues with the older one.
Calibration update is only needed when there are newer files available for your vehicle from DCX.

So i guess i should most likely get the latest. Has anyone had issues with this or can you go back to a previous update?
