06 GTO - DsLogRedux claims no Accelerator Pedal values!

I did a log today and was able to view the log using Dataviewer. However when I tried to "verify the parameters" using DsLogRedux I get error ""The command throttle position, the accelerator pedal position or the absolute throttle position is no presented in the log file---you must select the commanded throttle position or the accelerator pedal position parameter."

I can view the Accelerator Pedal position values with Dataviewer so I know they are present.

do you have more than one Acclerator Pedal Position parameter to select??

for some reason, in your log, the column header is "Accelerator Pedal Position E"... that's why the app didn't find it, cuz it's not named "Accelerator Pedal Position"...

so, in that csv log file, if you rename that column to just Accelerator Pedal Position and save it, then run it through DSLogRedux, it will work.

besides, you should be logging the Commanded Throttle Position anyway...

btw, you want to adjust your slope to -5%....

this is the first time we've seen or heard of this... how did you create the CSV file?

did you use the dataviewer app and go to file > export to CSV?

what version is the Dataviewer you're using? what revision is on your predator?

did you open up the csv file in excel or open office, and then save it, and THEN opened it up in dslogredux??


if you used the dataviewer to do file > export to csv... then open that csv directly with dslogredux, there should be no issues at all...

something sounds like it got changed somewhere between that export to csv and you openining it in dslogredux.

I selected only the Accelerator Pedal Position parameter.

Here's what I used:

- Dataviewer 3.1
- DSLogRedux 6.3.1.0
- Diablo U7191 firmware version 8r09.

Is it a good idea to calculate the LTFTs with the current log or do I need to do another log?

Here's what I did:

I opened Dataviewer, downloaded the log, went to file and chose export to CSV then saved the file on the desktop. When I opened the file with DSLogRedux and tried to verify the parameters I got the error.

what version Dataviewer... 3.1.?.? it's a 4-digit version number...

haven't ever seen this happen in a log exported from the dataviewer... EVER... and I've looked at HUNDREDS if not a thousand logs by this point, from all GM models/software versions...

something doesn't smell right here...

Sorry its Dataviewer 3.2.0.0. The link said 3.1 which is wrong.

Software suggests to adjust injector slope -5%. Is it possible to disable CAGS which I make adjustments for the slope and modify the tune?


UPDATE: I just adjusted the injector slope to -5% and disabled the CAGS.

on a side note... this may be a new issue with the 3.2 dataviewer.... hmmm...

thanks for letting me know... I think I'll upgrade to 3.2 and see if my logs do the same thing now...

but in any event, you should log Commanded Throttle Position...

Yes it might be an issue because I downloaded my log more than once and the conversation was messed up each time

Is my log obsolete because I didn't use Commanded Throttle Position?

Monte I hooked my Diablo today and found Accelerator Pedal Position E and Accelerator Pedal Position D as options in the tool for the log. So it looks like there is no bug.


I decided to do another log today since I changed the injector slope to -5% and disabled CAGS last night.

I drove 10 miles after making changing (not sure if it's enough for the PCM to relearn) and did another log. DSLogRedux analysis now says no adjustments necessary for the new log.

Could you please customize the tune for me?

I uploaded the custom tune and the NEW log at the beginning of this thread....Thanks.
