Trouble with Injectors?
I have a 2005 F250 6.0L and i bought the predator U7165 about a month ago. when i installed it, everything seemed to be running fine. about a week or so ago, i started hearing a weird noise coming from somewhere on my truck, almost like a kind of hum or something of that nature. That same noise happened about 4 months ago, but it eventually went away. I realized that while i had my settings on 100hp, it felt like i was on stock and it takes some time to speed up. Everything runs fine as far as i know, it just takes awhile to accelarate anywhere roughly after 50 mph even with the pedal to the floor. I checked the trouble codes and it said all 8 cylinder injector circuits were low and it also read fuel injector control module performance. Im not sure what that means and i dont wont to go to a dealer unless i have to. I reset the stock settings and then reinstalled it to 100hp and the noise is still there and the codes are now gone. It will only run for so long until it starts acting stock again. Can someone PLEASE help me out.
RE: Trouble with Injectors?
Sounds like it could be an injector module since its all 8. Usually a bad injector will cause hard starts, lack of power. Two injectors bad will usually cause excessively hard starts or none at all. Sounds Similar to a defueling condition. I would bring it by the dealer, it sounds like the module just died, usually not such a common problem on the 04 and up trucks, was a big problem on the '03s fueling system though.

When i restored the original backup and then changed it back to the 100hp, the codes went away. i just checked it this morning and the "fuel injector control module performance" came back up, but the cylinder injectors did not. it also said "ecm/pcm processor" and thats all it said about both. im still not sure what the humming is, or what it has to do with. it sounds like its coming from under the dash or somewhere inside the dash. im going to try and run the truck stock for now and then see what happens and then return it to 100hp. Is this a common issue or is there something wrong with my injectors. could there have been to much fuel pushed trough the injectors. someone please help.

Google hot shot's secret and you'll get your answer.
It is hard to tell you what is wrong with your truck by you saying 'it is making a noise'. I guess this is why we have dealers so they can figure out what that noise is. If you don't have the extra power that you should have, then there is a problem with your truck and not the programming since that same programming worked with your truck before.
Firstly I would restore to factory settings and take to a dealer to get the injector module checked out to make sure that it is not your problem. If it is not your problem and your injectors are failing, before you replace them on your dime, I would try hss (hot shot's secret). If you have extended warranty, then I would tell dealer to fix problem end of story.
This is just my 2 cents so you will have to make up your own mind.

Im starting to have a different problem now. i ran the truck in stock for a little bit and it ran fine. i set it back to extreme and it hadnt given me any problems for 3 days until now. i was headed home when i could tell it wasnt sounding right. the engine was acting like it was losing power and so i pulled over to the side of the road and looked through trouble codes and eventually set it back to stock. it ran fine after that nut had a hard idle for the first mile or so but seems to be all fine now. i know it could be my cylinder injectors, cuse someone said it idles hard from that. im going to use that hot spots secrect and hopefully clean my injectors. could it be that the tune is using my injectors harder than normal and they are acting up cuse there dirty? can someone try and give me some more inight in to what i can do. thatnk you everyone who has helped and will help.
