How do I turn off the rear oxy sensors with 7137?

Post by RTTTTed »

I cna't seem to find the menu for rear oxy sensor program. Now that I've gutted my cats I need to turn them off. I see a thread here that says he gets check engine lights with non-foulers so I need to turn that program off.

The tool has no acess to that part of the menu. I read the other tools menu and it has it. I actually bought the tool so that I could shut off the rear sensors and adjust the tune for CAI , dual exhaust and headers.

I may be wrong but I don't believe that you can turn those off with the predator. It sounds like you may have to go with a custom tune.

so how do I custom tune? The instructions tell you how to load the tune into the Predator, but how do you make the tune? Is it emailed to me? am I supposed to drive 1000mi. to Squamish and back for the dealer to do it? I thought the Predator was a tuner?

It is a tuner, you get to tune your vehicle with one of the canned tunes. The canned tunes include extensive user adjustability, but 02 shut off is not one of the options for user adjustability. You can drive to Squamish (where ever the hell that is) or you can get an email tune to shut off your 02 sensors. Take your pick.
