Computer learn on 03 2500

Post by Trevor »

Hi there. I have the FLX7193 on a 2003 silverado 4x4 with the 6.0 L, and have driven about 50 miles since installing it. The truck idles extremely rough, and actually died at a stop sign. It seems ok at other rpms, but idle is terrible. How long does it take to re-teach the computer, and does it sound like this is the problem? Thanks, Trevor

The idle should relearn after about 20-30 miles of regular driving.
Did you do anything else to the truck like add a CAI at the same time?

Thanks

No, the truck is pretty much stock, the predator was the only thing I added. I didn't do any long driving stints, just the normal 10 miles to town type of stuff. Does that matter? Any other ideas I could try? Thanks!

Just as a check I put the stock tune back on, and the truck ran normally. I will try putting the predator tune back in tonight, is there anything else I should try to help the computer re-learn? Thanks again, I know you guys have a lot to do!
