Extreem powerpuck, MXT, VT365, not working, MP-8

Post by Cainiac »

1 M1000 1992-2009 International Extreme PowerPuckUSD$ 359.99

I have tried the MP-8 and Nothing... it did nothing. So I figured I would try the Extreeem powerpuck and still nothing. It is like the engine dosent eaven know i did anything. A 30% increase in HP should be fealt in the seat of your pants. I can not hear or feal any difference. I get a bigger difference if I am running on a 1/4 tank of fuel instead of a full tank.

So what could be the problem. Is there another sensor somewhere? perhaps I am on the wrong one? Or maybee the truck just dosent care about that sensor.

International MXT VT365 (same block as a powerstroke) 2008 model year.

Is there any change at all with the puck plugged in, change in idle, anything?
Can you try disconnecting the cable for the power dial and see if it makes any difference?

Ya it seems to do nothing at all. the MP-8 or the Power puck. I will try unplugging the switch. I could test the switch. It is a variable resister by the looks of it. how many Ohms should it read?

Note: I no longer have the MP-8 installed. only the power puck is in.
