Boost Pressure / Boost Fooler

Post by vrodrex »

I'm getting ready to put gauges in my truck, not sure about a boost gauge (0-??? psi), how high of boost are you all making with the 7130? BTW I have a 2004.5 "600". Also I'm going to do a boost fooler, how much more boost will I see?

i know mine is differant but with my current set up I can hit 40psi on a hard pull, stock turbo is not very effecient at that psi but it will hit it! Just my 2 cents

I installed a gauge for up to 50#, I will hit 44#'s or so when hitting it hard, but it all depends on your mods, before the TST and other mods, I could only make around 35#'s. The stock turbo is set at around 45#'s I believe. From what I've read anything over that the air is to hot and not as effective, of coarse if you have twins its a different ball game for the boost temp over 45#'s.
