Mike,
i tried to install that file as a custom tune, I keep getting errors

Any suggestions?

getting errors when? when trying to install the tune to the truck, or when trying to import the custom tune into the predator?

did you hook up to the truck and let it make a backup copy of the new original stock tune??

if not, you have to... you can not import a custom tune into the predator if it hasn't saved a copy of the original backup first.

well according to the software on my PC i do get a message that says the program has been downloaded to the tool successfully. but when i try to use the tool for anything afterwords is says custom tune error 09 or something like that. then after i erase extra tune everything works perfect again

Sounds like you are using DSDL??

Did you maybe use an old DSDL to pull the backup file?

I have been using the LS2 pc interface. i tried the DSDL last night and no luck.....same thing

So, you used the LS2 interface to export the backup you sent me, and to load it to the Predator?
And it loads to the predator OK?

Yes that is correct. a prompt comes up and it says that it was downloaded to the tool successfully
