0-60 in 4.82 seconds ?
Hey guys, I just ran my 09 srt8 chally for a 0-60 first time since installing the perf 91 tune. The car is stock other than the 180 t-stat. Is 4.82 seconds a pretty good time for my car, or should it do better than that ? Thanks

If its hot outside that is pretty decent. My best on a cold day and no wheelspin is 4.11. On a hot day, heatsoaked engine, I get 4.4's with no wheelspin. I do have more mods than you though.

Yeah, I get quite a bit of wheel spin with the stock goodyear f1s. Ambient air temp was around 67f at the time of the run. Guess I need to start planning my next mod. Any suggestions for the best bang for the buck? I'm all ears.SRT8Tech wrote:If its hot outside that is pretty decent. My best on a cold day and no wheelspin is 4.11. Hey SRT8, just curious, what mods are you running, and what do you think would be the best bang for the buck for my next one?broadfca wrote:Yeah, I get quite a bit of wheel spin with the stock goodyear f1s. I ran a 3.93 last night, uphill. On flat ground she run 3.6-3.7. Not bad for a 5000lb truck. Gotta love AWD.......... when its working.

Ive got a JBA catback, AFE 2 cold air intake, catch can and CMR tune. Its got close to 420rwhp and 420rwtq right now. Worked on the CMR tune for weeks untill we found what the car likes. Believe it or not the CMR tune has less timing than the canned 93 cai Predator tune.

Hey SRT8, this is Rick from Orange Park, with the Black 08 Challenger. Maybe you can help me tune my car now that I have alot more miles on it? It is running way better now that it is broke in however, would like to get more. By the way, gald to hear you were able to find another job locally. Been missing you on Sat nites. We ran a black Trans Am Sat, guy named Chris, and beat him by 1/2 car length. He had heads, cam, headers, intake and tune. He said his is a 12.85 car. Hummm, don't know about that, or mine is faster than I thought...lol.
