The guidlines I have seen posted by DS people is back off fan settings ten degrees. I have others on this forum say back off 23 degrees 203-180 = 23. I have a truck with mechanical cooling fan so I have no real world experience. You can type a subject in the forum and search for a subject, time consuming yes, but I think these guys get tired of answering the same quesitons over and over.

I think they need to post a FAQ and cover the basics.

What ever temp your stock T-stat settings are... subtract 180* for the 180* T-stat. Set all your cooling fans at that #. If you set your HS fan too low, you may find that it runs excessively. You should have around 10* difference between the LS and HS fan settings.

It's not unusual to see running temps above 190* from time to time on hot days, especially with the A/C on...or when sitting in traffic.

I have my LS set at 185 and my HS set at 196. Works great. HS fan cycles once in a while but never runs for very long. My average temp is around 185-188.

I got my info from a phone call to DS.

I run my LS at 188, MS at 194 and HS at 197. The MS does come on once and a while on hot days. The LS you can just about hear it on most of the time.

You are correct, no medium fan so set your HS and MS the same.

* Low MPH HS Fan On:
Low MPH High Speed Fan On when ac is off and below 8mph = 192f

Cooling Fans AC on

* HS Fan On:
High Speed Fan On when ac is on = 192f

* LS Fan On:

I understand that some '05 models do indeed have MS fans! Guy on another forum said he sat there and listened to the speeds change!
