mail order base tunes?
I have a predator on my 03 cobra and it had a tune in it from the previous owner of the car with the mods he did. Now I am going with a smaller pulley and my tuner said to mail it to him and he can but a base tune on it until I can get it dyno'd.. Is this possible to do and now when I reload a new tune do I just upload and go or do I have to return it to stock settings than load the new one?

You can leave whatever tune is on the vehicle there until you get the Predator back with the Base tune on it. And yes, this is possible, but I don't understand why he doesn't just Email the tune to you and have YOU load it on to the Predator. Could save loads of time...

Is there any way to know if they in fact loaded a tune on it or not? Just want to make sure they did what I paid for thats all... Why he didnt just say hey let me email it to you is not known to me. That would have been easier than the 2 weeks I have been waiting..
