O4GTO Tuner used on 05Envoy?

I was just searching flee bay and saw that the U7193 Predator works on the 04 GTO and the 05 Envoy Denali w/5.3 which I own both. My question is I have the SLP Predator for my 04 GTO and want to make sure it will work on my 05 Denali with a 5.3l?

Can anyone answer this definitevly? I would hate to mess up my Envoy by just trying it but I think it should work with no problems. Please let me know. The GTO is going to be dyno tuned so I would have just sold the predator but it looks like I might have to keep it.....

no... the slp version predators only have tunes made for gto's in it.. not for the Envoy...

so, before you get your gto dyno tuned, make sure you "restore original backup" first to unlock it, and then you can sell it.

Well that sucks I never should have bought the SLP version...Oh well money towards other go fast parts..Thanks for helping me out here and on LS1GTO....I appreciate it....
