9R10 Release Check Engine Light

Installed new release and all seems well....but....
Check Engine light is coming on with no Error Codes.
Error Code Screen is empty. Is anybody else having problems with this? Check Engine light did not come on before.

2005, Ford Excursion
9R10 Crom Release
Pred. Sticker 2005 6.0

Try having the codes read at an auto parts store to see what they may be.

Did what you said and the Auto Zone near my house came up with a EGR Valve problem. Not sure why the Predator couldn't find the error code??? Also, not to happy about what I'm reading in regards to the EGR Valve problem with Fords. But what really has me thinking, is why did my check engine light come on right after i install the new update? Please explain.

More then likely the valve is plugged up with carbon. The old tunes had egr disabled, hence why the code never showed up before, hit me up with an email BB, and send me your ori, ill fix ya up

Don can you take a look at the custom tune you sent me back in July. I just think we are missing something. My MPG is not that great compared to what it was before the tune was updated. I also noticed that when my truck is in park idling it is not as loud as before. Do you think you can take a look at the 100 HP tune that you had sent me and see if you can do something to give me more power and better MPG. 13.5 is not cutting it compared to 18.5 hwy that I was getting before.

Yeah, 6.0s have EGR issues, period.

Not likely related to the tunes...
