Extreme Power Puck dyno graphs

Post by larryc7777 »

I've searched quite a bit on the web & haven't been able to find any dyno graphs showing the power output of the Extreme Power Puck when used on the 6.7 Dodge Cummins engine. Can any of the DS techs or you members point me in the right direction? I really would like to see actual dyno charts rather than just the performance claims in writing.

How about it DS guys!! You MUST have made some dyno pulls during R&D for the Puck on the 6.7 Cummins. What were the results?

We have not done any in house testing, but I have seen the results and they were solid.

I'll see what I can dig up.

I think I have dyno charts for the 6.0, the 5.9, and the 6.6 Duramax, but not the 6.7...

I'd love to see some actual numbers on the 5.9. I've been contemplating buying one but nobody seems to have a straight answer on Predator VS Predator and Puck combo numbers.

i am in the same boat. was thinking of getting a puck too. But do not know if and how it would affect the truck. I guess I could just get my brother to rip his out and let me try it, but dyno numbers would be cool

The more I read that statement, the funnier it gets. Did you guys just build it and throw it out there? Maybe it's an empty box and you're just trying out a "Placebo" experiment on all of us Dodge nutjobs  .........?

I guess I just find it puzzling that you would market a power adding device to be combined with the programmer for these trucks and not supply the consumer with some real world numbers for the anticipated horsepower gains. I've yet to see any hard data from Diablo showing that this unit actually contributes horsepower over and above the standard Predator program. If testing was done, great, I'm sure there are some dyno graphs etc. out there you can supply to us. Make sense? I, and I'm sure many others are just looking for a straight, no nonsense answer to a simple question......"What do we get for power with the stacker tunes?"

Thats +95 rwhp and +~180 ft/lbs of torque gain.

Truck was otherwise bone stock with 35s.

Was this a stacker comparison or just the puck only on a stock truck? I realize that the Puck does make some nice power when used by itself, what I'm really after is what does it "ADD" to the power levels I get using my exisitng Predator?

Hey Cookiemanster,
Ever hear of a thing called " thread jacking"??
I'm sure you are interested in an answer to your question but so am I. I don't have a Predator, so I'm not as interested, at this time, in a "stacked" tune result.

However, I also want to know if the posted dyno graph represents a EPP ONLY pull or a stacked pull.

That pull was with a 100% bone stock 06 F250 6.0 with the puck on the max (100HP) setting.

No problem, my friend.
