I'm picking up a 2007 Silverado 4x4 Vortecmax with the 367hp 6.0L next week and was interested in getting a Predator tuner to pick up some more power until my performance shop starts doing custom tunes on these vehicles.
First of all, I noticed this on the features page:
93 Octane Performance Tune
91 Octane Performance Tune,Corvette Only
87 Octane Performance Tune,Truck & SUV only
And was curious why the 91 Octane tune was not available for the trucks. 91 Octane is the highest octane I can find in my area (without running octane booster).
Second, how effectively does the Predator take care of the closed loop/fuel enrichment 4 second delay when you go to WOT in these new VortecMax trucks? Removing this is my primary concern as I've seen the effect that it has on the dyno charts and didn't see this mentioned in the feature list.
Thanks!

RE: U7194 2007 GM Vortecmax Truck Questions
The PE delay is set to 0 seconds in our tunes, eliminating any delay providing strong gains down low.
The Performance tune in the Predator is designed for a minimum of 91 octane in the trucks.
Thanks
