I Think I Messed Something Up! I need help!

Post by AndyThomas »

I recently attempted to reinstall my programmer to my truck. While I was going through the setup I accidently unpluged the cord. Go ahead, let the criticism fly. But when I plugged it back in it asked something along the lines of "would you like to continue". I continued and it wrote something to the truck. When it was done it went back to the program menu. Not thinking, I unplugged the programmer, this time on purpose, b/c I assumed it had written the desired program to my truck. However, the next time I drove it it was obviously not programmed. Now when I try to put the 65 hp tune on it, the programmer screen tells me. "Invalid license. The tune in this vehicle doesn't match the last tune written." Am I screwed? Thank you very much for your time.

I would assume that this is a U7160 since this is the only tool that will give you 3 calids. You can call tech support and they can straighten this out for you as long as you installed this predator LAST on your vehicle. We can force the backup back into the truck and it will work fine after that.
