I just received my new predator. It came with 9r17 installed on it. I noticed that there was already a version 9r18 update. I tried to install it on the unit, but received the message "unable to store CROM image" and the programmer locked up. I unplugged the unit power and tried to re-boot it. It said that the file was corrupt.
I followed the directions online to download 9r12, which I did and installed it to the tuner.

If not an 09, 9r12 is all you need.
