u7146 03 mustang GT/knock sensor??

In my directions for my predator i see i should be able to monitor my knock sensor but in the device i do not see the 4-5 letter symbol to monitor it. Has this been removed and no longer able to watch to see if it is being triggered?

Am I able to monitor my knock sensor or not? If not why is it in the data log descriptions?

If that function is not available for the u7146, I would just use the default values for data logging the timing for WOT. Transfer the log to your PC and use Data viewer 3.1 and play back the log. If you see a whole bunch of timing being dropped and your log still shows you are WOT then your knock sensors are doing there job and you need to use higher octane or back down on the timing. From what I understand coolant temps over 190 can also retard timing along with high IAT temps so go over these if you see your timing is retarding also.

Ok thanks that lets me know that is not an issue. what should my IAT be at? or let me ask what temp. do not want it to get to?

Well IAT is the intake air temperature sensor. In a naturally aspirated application you really do not have any control of temperature outside.
