ah yea thats the problem bill, you've got the fc ori, ok let fix you up, ill send you a new tune in a bit. As far as the no response goes i might have to look at pedal position on these guys, i don't believe i messed with that. We will take one problem at a time, first we need to get this cruise fixed for everyone. Bill i really appreciate the help, i def need it since that truck isnt readily available at the moment.

Not a problem. I should have a little more play time available today so let me know if I can help. I pick up my new truck tomorrow so if I can work out the bugs on a truck that's going back to Ford, well then hey...!

First of all, THANKS DON!!!!
I Loaded Tune into programmer and into truck at midnoght last nite and woke up Hubby making sure the truck started! LOL He thought someone was taking off with his truck!! oh my :)

Ok so we took her out. I put Extreme tune in, have not tried cruise yet however, Did notice cruising at 40 mph on back roads and giving a little throttle to maintain uphill momentum she stared to BUCK and continued to buck until he gave it more than a little throttle.
Have not had an issue with shifting too hard or too soft.
I do believe there may be a bucking problem tho.

Again, Thanks for gettting this program up and running!!!!!!

o yea i forgot to mention i added two new cal id's lol my bad. Not a problem! Happy to hear everything is working for the most part. I have heard of the bucking issue. And i will work on that. But at least we have no flash problems as of yet so so far so good. More then likely that buck will be around in the 80hp as well so just a for warning. I will get it straightened out though. I dedicated this whole week (and more if necessary) to making sure the tunes work for EVERYONE.

Loaded the new L20 revision.

Hard and eratic shifts are gone, cruise control does not work, mileage still seems to be around 12.5mpg.

I meant to say that I was running the Extreme tune.

I agree with mytige, there is definitely less power than previous Extreme tune.

Would really love to see 18mpg....is it possible?

weird how the extreme tune dyno charts from Diablo show a significant power gain.

i have the dyno sheet from the old extreme tune @ work , the truck is in fact making alot more power. Could just be you guys aren't used to feeling it be so smooth? Not really sure guys. Ill dig up the old extreme tune that was previously on the tool and post it up. As far as mileage goes, i think well get that 18mpg eventually, its going to take time for sure to get this right. Like i said previously, software for these guys is alittle complicated but every day i discover new things, new tweaks i can do. Just gotta take it one step at a time with all the problems this guy had. Anyway, i have a few ideas on the mileage and possibly why the truck feels "slower" then it once did. I think the tunes may be lacking the throttle response you guys are used to. I'm going to work on this stuff tonight..working overtime for you guys :)

I appreciate you guys being so patient and giving me feedback

Don,

I'm more than happy to be a test for you. I drive an average of 50 to 70 miles/day. With 12.5mpg, I'm filling up every 5 days or so.

The previous Extreme tune would throw you back in your seat when you stepped on the throttle, reminiscent of an early 70's muscle car.

I have an 08 F350 with 57k miles on it.

Well Don, i drove about 380km's(around 236miles) today. I started off on the 80hp tune with my power puck at about 50%, my turbo ran really high, close to 30psi going 110km's(70 miles) down the highway. Then i switched to the 50hp tune, power puck at 50% again, and my turbo ran around 20psi going 110km's on the highway. Running stock thats where the turbo ran, not sure why though, any ideas on that would be great. Anyway i got about 13mpg for the day, i was getting 10 to 11mpg. The cruise didn't work, but the power in the 80hp tune was way better. And when i cracked my power puck in the 50hp tune, it sucked us back in the seat and blew lots of black smoke. Thats with an atv deck and 2 quads on it, and 35" procomps under it. I did try extreme yet though. I didn't notice any bucking in the 2 tunes i tried today. Shifting seemed nice to. I will also test anything if you need someone, as a surveyer i put on lots of km's in a day. Thank you for all the hard work, we will help you get these tunes working the way we all what then too.

Excellent thanks for the great feedback guys, you'll receive a new extreme tune tomorrow around 9am. In that tune the cruise should be fixed (still need verification), i messed with a pedal position table, it was modded a little strange so i reverted back to stock, i think this may actually give some feeling back in the pedal, might even cure the bucking (try going up hill to make it do it and you'll see) and i modded a table to see more boost i believe it was limiting itself to 70% of max at wot hence the possible overfueling in the extreme. It still made the power but maybe that's why it feels sloopy? For now well focus on the extreme since the 80 is just a matter of detuning it (not to mention its everyones favorite haha). I look forward to the feedback tomorrow gentlemen.

Ran the 80 tune and received same bucking under about 3/4 throttle. The pedal does feel dead once you let off and the and get back on it. About 2 inches of travel before you notice anything.
