Is it possible that the driver assistence systems like ESP etc. drops performance in a WOT? I have readed in the manual that the performance was limited if the wheels are chirping (spinning)?
Can I see this with a LOG?
Should I press the "ESP OFF" if I want the full performance to the 4WD?
Does ESP hurt performance?

Yes it does. I am now dealing with this issue myself and researching it. While factory esp settings seem to degrade performance somewhat, it seems that we need some level of traction control to keep the tires from spinning too much and to keep from breaking things in the drive line.captusha wrote:Is it possible that the driver assistence systems like ESP etc. drops performance in a WOT?
