Newbie Question for 2006 Charger R/T

Post by dco »

Sorry, dorky new guy here. I've had my Charger for almost 4 years and have done lots of mods to make it my own, however, I haven't done anything to the performance end other than little stuff like Mopar CAI and replaced the muffler suitcase with Magnaflow exhaust and removed the resonators at the rear. I want to finally add the DS tune to my car. From reading some of the other posts here, like from "happy camper" should I assume that there will be a calid update needed for my car before I can install the tune? And since I haven't done any engine mods, can I just go with the DS tune by itself or is a CMR tune needed as well? Sorry to be such a kindergardener but ya gotta learn sometime! Right? :drivingbad:

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm not sure about the calid update. But yes, you can go with the canned predator tunes by themselves. You won't need a cmr tune unless you want get into more advanced tuning specific to your car. The predator performance tunes are very good right out of the box. 8)
