Got it!! Thanks. Any ideas on why the downloader won't see the tool hooked to my computer? Checked all the connections but find nothing wrong. The computer sees the tool when I connect but the downloader can't find it. Connected by usb to serial cable off of front of computer. Power supply is ok. Any ideas this computer dumb a-- can try?

restart the computer and unplug the tool, restart ds and then re plug the tool in. Sometimes the com ports get locked and the pc is a restart

Great job on 9r11 Don .... power and throttle responce greatly improved..... have only tried extreme tune but milege has improved ..... 16 mpg highway..... 2008 f-250 , 6" Suspension lift , 37" x 13.5" Dick Cepek Rubber...

glad to hear it man, economy and tow should crank out alittle more more hopefully, i didnt really increase timing so much as limit how much it takes out during certain temps/conditions

PaulKeel Make sure you have the current version of downloader, there was an undate a while ago.

had the same problem, just downloaded the downloader program again, all worked fine.


don mpg 16.7 on last tank extreme tune. that was playing alittle lol pic

Don,
ran the custom economy tune you sent last week....
Fuel consumption was exact same as stock.
Cel light thrown.
Regen normal intervals(about twice per tank)
Cruise ok TCS ok
looking forward to the 9r11

Don, I dont get it. all these trucks with low mpg???? I run the same truck as some of these guys.....

Have they run the lastes tune???? From the mpg they are talking about, they should be pulling a duramax up a

mountainside..... Just dont understand

Well holy s!@t, how about 20mpg!!!!!! Yes i said 20mpg!!! I was having trouble with my dpf-r kit, got it replaced. Drove home in the 80hp tune, calc'd it out, drove 70mph, 20mpg over 150 mile trip!!!!!! Nice work Don, i'm super happy!!!!! Oh yeah that's sitting on 35" pro comp tires too!!!

I don't understand either.

I'm stuck with one of those trucks that get's crap for mileage. 13.0mpg on the last 300 miles with 90% of it highway, albiet at 80 to 85mph.

Wow That puts the spread @ 9-20 miles to the gallon?

running hard , i might see that milage , never running down the highway

I'm guessing around 1700 at 70mph.
