mds smoothing

Post by gliderider2003 »

can I get a tune with mds smoothed out? Attached last tune file.
Also, can I use Tow/Haul with the performance tunes or is it not needed?

Rather than smooth the MDS out by having everyone toss in their tunes for you to modify, why not include a line item in the Modify Tune screens to smooth MDS when selected? I'm sure your people can add that, no?

If this feature is added, then every time there is a new CROM you won't have to go through this exercise all over again.
As a new Predator owner who just experienced the MDS Surge i was reading this post from page 1 and after just a couple pages was thinking the same thing. As soon as any of the Octane Tunes are tweaked everyone is going to want that new tune and if their MDS surges they will want that tune tweaked all over again.

Question on this. The last written tune I uploaded and you smoothed had fans adjusted, shift limiter adjusted, shift tightened and set to 6000 along with mode 1 set. Will this all be enabled when I load the tune or do I need to start over from scratch?

Yes, that will all bethere.

If pred asks you if you want to reset parameters, choose yes.

won't reset parameters ...do just that? reset it all to basic tune settings?

In other words, I want all those parameters to be there. So should I really choose no?
