same thing happened using Dave's revised tune did not hit limiter from 2-3 all the time... wired
it shifted at 6090 but hit limiter for a second then shifted to the next gear1-2. I sent Dave the log. if you want me to post the log I will. Dave Casper from b&g did a flashed pcm that I still have before diablo could do the tuning. in man mode 1-2 I could go over 6200. but in reg auto I wouldn't. in auto it would only shit at 5850. if you guys want i can put the b&g pcm\tcm in and log it for you guys to see!!!??? sorry for the delay had some unfortunate unexpected things happen yesterday. I want to get this shifting issue resolved as much as anyone. i also want to get the cam issue for the 11 up resolved as well :lamer:

the revision Johan did for me hot 5992 and did not hit the limiter

the cam issue of, not being able to make power out of an aftermarket for the trucks. the hemi 5.7 cars are seeing 100+ hp on just a cam headers and a tune with a custom grind comp cam. and its the same motor

if the same came makes that power in a car, it has to make it in a truck, unless the intake manifold is total junk on the truck. I have a feeling its not the exact same cams being compared.

Ive yet to see someone with a truck install a Comp cam with the phaser and tuned?

Its all been in cars. Matter of fact the only trucks ive seen install cams are 6.4 cams with no phaser and Arrington or Inerta. Arrington and Inerta are small cams compared to comp and the 274 is WAY TOO BIG for a truck application.

The cams will work the same car or truck. But lets get the shift rpm issue resolved first. Whats the point of installing a cam if you cant rev the motor higher than 5900rpm

Johan tuned a custom ground cam and it made almost 400rwhp and maintained and gained a ton of midrange torque and a bump in horsepower. Its a awesome cam! That's whats gonna move you down the road not some high peak HP number spinning 7k on a stock bottom end

No

There's some funky issues with the trucks.

1. They do not shift when commanded to.
2. It seems different Calids shift higher or lower
Example my truck with a 6k program shifted at 5912rpm and Dodges did it in 6090 with a 6100 program. Which is still not correct because it takes apox 100-150rpm to complete the shift. So a 6100rpm program should shift 6250rpm
3. Adjusting scalers and limiters is not a fix.
To me it's either a communication problem with the programmer to the ECM, or there's a fail safe built into the stock ECM that will not allow changes to a point.

I think hooking a truck up to their fancy equipment is going to tell them what's going on. I don't think it's human error
