Hey Guys, I bought this programmer thinking there would be tcm support, but now after reading these posts I am sure there won't be. I think it would be good business and faith to offer full refunds. Let us go a different route, I am however pleased with the way these guys handle issues that can be addressed, but think it is dishonest to keep making promises they are not gonna keep if that is the case. Anyways "bump for tcm support."

Here's an idea DS.....How about putting together the interface to use a laptop in conjunction with the Predator to offer TCM if memory is the issue? Or did you all back yourselves into a hole or two with the serial bus interface? I'm just wondering....You all are able to capture and log directly to a laptop using the Predator as the "link".....Why not create a build that will let the Predator borrow resources from the laptop during the flash? Or again, are you backed into a hole of some sorts?

I've developed software, firmware, and reverse-engineered untold numbers of devices, PLC's, military radios, for emulation. There's many different options if you know where to look and actually give a shit. Of course, you have to know more than the average bear to accomplish this, but hey, you all reversed a E38 right? Yall got this right?

they can eat a dick. they won't get any of my money, and i'm doing everything i can to steer others away from any of their products. might not get much done here, but i'm on a ton of other vehicle forums, and will make sure to spread the word there, complete with links to this thread. i highly encourage others to do the same, and with enough coverage, these guys will be considered a joke in no time.

their contempt for everyone who has posted in this thread and many other "customers" is obvious by their lack of relevant responses. they got your money, you can piss off for all they care.

Agreed with all, I have waited way to long for these empty promises. I will NEVER purchase anything from DS...EVER.

Agreed. I believe that do to my current situation, having followed along patiently, the utter silence on the issue, the seemingly disrespect for current customers, and just straight false statements, that I may just do that in the next week or two. I've seen the used prices so I'm prepared, although I'm including the cable and power supply may help the sale. I'd like to keep it, but I want to sell it now while I can still get some decent price. After the InTunes we're SOL.....

we were SOL from day one. they never had the intention of providing TCM support, unless it could be wished into existence. these guys are a joke.

they are con-men, not programmers. don't be surprised if it comes out that they've stolen all the real work from someone else.

Now thats a good one....

You should look up our CEO Mike Wesley and you'll see he all but started the late model tuning industry with his autologic chip tuning software back in the day. He then partnered with DiabloSport to develop tuning tools for GM vehicles, and then bought the company and developed Chrysler custom tuning, which we are the ONLY ones in the industry to offer...tough to steal something if nobody else has it, right??

So instead of posting something like "OK guys, the CEO has made a decision to not continue TCM development because the company needs....." or "TCM will not be coming to the Predator......" or something informative about the threads purpose, the defense stick is pulled out to beat down those asking questions and demanding answers.....Good play there.....Chalk it up as just another instance of contempt for those who just want what was promised......Good play....Classy.

Lack of TCM support is one thing, I dont take kindly to being called a thief.

TCM is still in development, nothing further is available at the moment.

patience is a virtue guys.....better to have it take longer and be RIGHT than quick and having to constantly patch/upgrade it.....

so that's what it takes to elicit a response,,,,,,

what would you call it if you paid someone for something,,,,and he keeps saying "it's on the way, on backorder, i'll bring it soon,,,," etc. etc. for OVER 2 YEARS?

mikel wrote:TCM is still in development, nothing further is available at the moment.
the staff here should put that in their sig, we've heard it so much.

wait, first we are told it's not possible due to the memory size on the 7194,,,now all of a sudden it's "in the works" again? so maybe another 2 years down the road we'll be informed it's not possible again?

it's in the works... doesn't mean it's in the works for the predators.. ;)
