a-HA!! I KNEW something was up with your air intake... those numbers are way off from a stock setup...

nope timing is 0... Can I take the tune out of the sport and send it to you?

Sorry bout that.. it did help quite a bit, I had it on my 2001 GTP and kept it when I sold it... :twisted: I have not installed the scoop on the GXP...YET.

I made this, I was a shop foreman for a machine shop. 5 minutes on CNC mill.
Scoop has a 1/8" lid and a 30% Fiberglass Peek collector with MAF screen in it, 4" flex hose running to the side of the airbox from the inner fender.

nah, don't need the tune file... yet ;)

set your slope down another -3%, drive for about 30 miles, then do another log and let's see what'cha have...

Poor GSXR 49 degrees... LOL LTF is all over the place KR was hitting hard a few times on playback...??

Seems the car had some more pep too, it is night time and 46-49 degrees... For the most part the KR is lower on this log. Why is the LTF so crazy?

Is this after changing the injector slope again? I'd still take -2 more out as I see it crusing between -.78 and .78. You want to see -1.56 and -.78 at cruise.

Yes I am -12 slope now and starting to slide out of my chair... LOL I guess I feel better about going negative, thats adding fuel. By all means its not bogging.

Why is KR hitting at top end? Because it does not have enough fuel?

FYI I usually use Chevron 93 Octane but Filled up today with Exxon 93 to see if it would help with the KR in my logs... It is lower but we cranked the slope up a bit too?

could be driveline noise causing it... could be something rattling... could be your brand of gas.... could be it's not getting enough fuel quick enough...

which was my problem ^

well, that and the brand of gas I was using...

set it to -13 will log today 120 mile round trip should get a good log on the 60 coming home...

Ended up puting 170 miles on it today and ran this log on the way back in, had 148 miles on this tune before logging it.

Timing backed off also...

Either I have no clue of what I am reading or my car is doing some strange stuff.

Setup:
Diablo No DOD Tuner Modified in these areas.
Slope -13
Timing -4, -4, -2 ( trying to kill the KR's)



I can understand this I hit 3RD WOT...

Well anyone that "thinks" this tuner does very little to nothing for your cars performance, drive with the DS tune for a week then toss the original tune back in the car and "try" to drive it. IMHO, there is no real way to see 10-20 HP gains without strapping down to a Dyno, the LS4 runs great @ WOT out of the box.The major improvements are going to be a super responsive Engine, better gas mileage and no DOD lag. I never thought the DOD was doing anything bad, I used to tell people if I didn't have the exhaust I would never know when DOD kicks in (sounds like a Harley in DOD dubdubdubdudbdudbdudb, all 8 running she purrs so beautifully), that is not true with a DS tune running on all 8 all the time is a world of difference. I also see better gas mileage as I read in many places here and elsewhere, for example, something as simple as an overpass on the freeway. In DOD I would see 14-18 MPG on the instant gas mileage readout, with all 8 purring 22-23 MPG. (29-31 @ 70 MPH) Now just if we could adjust the tranny Shift time, Firmness, Part throttle and WOT RPM/MPH like my 06 GMC 5.3L!!! We would be there.
