I have no other mods that would affect this. I drive an 05 with no CAT, turbo exhaust, CAI and that's about it. Other stupid stuff like removed baffles and silencer ring. A home made ram air intake............none of which would cause the surge.

I have recently installed a power puck and a boost fooler but I had the surge issue before this.

The problem is definately with the tuner, when i install the stock program the problem goes away. Mine is ans 07 with the 5.9L. Johan is this going to be looked at soon? There are alot of people i am sure that would like this addressed, if it takes a trip up north to the colder climates to solve this then that's what should happen. IS there any way you can override the factory warm up feature so the truck comes up on high idle to the same RPM as when you bring it up with the cruise control? Please look at this so we can use our programmers in the winter months.

It's official i have taken the put away the programmer for another winter. I've got to say i am very dissapointed with the lack of response to the problem. I have brought this issue up with Diablosport last winter and it looks they truly do not think this is a problem worth dedicating time too. I will be looking at other programmers and see how they work in the colder climates. I would think a year would be enough time to get this solved but i guess i was wrong.
